‍ ‍Roller Ball Escape is a project I helped create and published on Itch.io in 2024. I was involved in creating this level utilizing previous mechanics as well as implementing new ones. I created each of the rooms to prove as a challenge for the players. I created the turrets that fire at the player, as well as the fast moving obstacles (red cylinders). I also created the scoring and timing for the levels. I direct the player through the level using various methods of the laser floors, arrows on the wall, and having a preview of a challenge before they get to it.

This was all made in Unreal Engine 5. This project really helped me learn about player pacing, player agency, and how to adjust challenges to have players not feel frustrated, but rewarded when they make it through.
